Questions gym owners ask.
What does Dot Owner cost?
Nothing, to run your gym on it. Dot earns when it sells something for you through the Dot app, such as a day pass or a membership, at the rates written in the agreement you sign. Anything optional, like promoting your gym, shows its price before you turn it on.
Do my members need the Dot app?
No. The desk can check anyone in by hand. Members who have Dot show their QR, or give the four-character code under it.
Can my staff use it without seeing the money?
Yes. Each person gets a role and the branches they work at, and only the people you choose see the money.
What happens when the internet goes down?
The desk keeps checking members in against the list on the phone. Those check-ins reach Dot when the connection is back; taking money waits for the connection.
Does it work in Hindi?
Yes. Every screen is in Hindi and English, and each person picks their own language.
Can I bring the members I already have?
Yes: from a photo of your paper register, a paste from a sheet, or a CSV or Excel file, with what each member has paid and still owes. Or send it to us on WhatsApp and we set it up with you.
When can my gym start?
Dot Owner is launching soon. Message us and we will show it to you and tell you when your gym can go live.
